Basically, I'm very much in debt. I work two jobs right now while my husband is deployed and have a $14,000 dollar loan that I'm struggling to pay off. It just bothers me that people can dangle that little piece of hope infront of someone who really needs help just for their own personal gain. So I have to go to regular hospital visits. They either let me pay a reduced fee or I get a payment plan option. I would speak to someone at the hospital about it, let them know the situation... I can't speak for the hospitals in your area, but the ones around here are very helpful and generous... I hope something can be worked out. Call around in your area to see if you qualify for a reduced fee. I've honestly had to do this myself, not just for dental but my medical visits. You'd be amazed at how much people are willing to help! I should be paying 500 dollars for the pills for my stomach alone, but my hospital is so nice, they give me free samples and even gave me a discount card if they at some point didn't have samples to give me (so I get my prescription for 25 dollars...). Googling stuff may help, also. I'd search for dental financial assistance, or something of the like. Good luck.

Your state should have a job board or job bank that you can use to search for job postings, either online or at a local facility. Also, try posting a resume on sites like monster.com. You can always explain to potential employers your situation and why you lack the qualifications, but explain that you are willing to learn. Data-entry positions sometimes let you work from home. My mother did it for a while. Basically she'd sit on the computer they gave her and input data into the screen from sheets.. It was a very simple job. All you can do is try I suppose, I hope something happens for you soon. You might also want to try selling some stuff on craigslist. Just by calling your local hospitals/doctors office, many places are willing to help. My hospital gives me my would-be 500 dollar a month medication in free samples because I cannot afford that. Walmart and Target also have this new 4 dollar prescription. Basically, there are some generic medications available at a 4 dollar or less price. Of course it is limited to a list, but many commonly prescribed medications are on that list. It's been great for my anti-depressants. You know what it's like to be disabled... don't forget that there are others as well, who probably can't afford much. So keep in mind. The best thing you can do is offer help regardless of whether or not you can make a buck.

A lot of the grants are based on how you fill it out... It got my friend, who makes way more money than I do, a pell grant for 3,000 dollars, because she had someone professionally help fill it out with her. You could also look at getting a part-time job working FOR the college (depending on the university and location). A lot of the time, if you work a certain amount of time at a college you can get either free/reduced tuition. Even if you work full-time and take a couple night classes or something, it could be very rewarding!

She ended up having to get 3 jobs to support not 1, but 4 children. Depending on how old your child is, you might have to work in a less-than-desirable place just to get by. $700 dollars a month for one child? We didn't even get that for the 4 of us when I was growing up. You can also ask the food pantry at your local church if you are in need of food. I went through most of my teen life with no health insurance, and I've got a chronic illness (I'll have it my whole life), which requires me to take 12 pills a day. Go to a doctor and tell them your financial situation. Or call. Most places are willing to work with you to get you care. When I was younger, they used to give me samples of my medication because I could not afford to pay out of pocket for my necessary medications. They also have a lot of prescription programs now, so if you can get checked out and they prescribe something to you, you might be able to get it for free or reduced prices. Try to walk or take public transportation if you can. It's usually a lot cheaper anyway because of the price of gas these days. I too have student loans that need to be paid back. I work 2 jobs myself, most likely going to be 3 soon. Just do the best you can, try as hard as you can, and someone will help you. Have faith, and good luck.
