Here I am. If you're wondering about the nickname, it's a sort of homage to Dustin Holffman's character Little Big Man. I can relate so much to that poor little guy in the movie!Anyway, my husband and I are working on starting our own business sometime in the future. Right now funds are pretty low, but we're doing what we can. Part of our hopes and plans for the new business is that we want to give something back to the world. Environmentally friendly and all that. We also want to be involved in public service as well. My motto is: Love people, not things.Right now, however, we are strapped for cash. The only thing I can offer right now is time, effort, research, and friend support. I am interested in aidpage because it looks more like a group of pals giving each other advice and such and I hope to become a part of that. Here are some helpful links:Aid For Dependant ChildrenProsper.comPhiladelphia alsoSubstance Abuse and Mental Health

Be Careful Out There!

It's sad, so sad, how quickly and thoroughly a good thing can turn bad. Aidpages is a wonderful outlet for helping people and scammers and thieves are seeping through all over this wonderful oppurtunity. Here's some tips from Mama to help keep us safe:
*Never, under any circumstance, provide your phone number, address or any other personal information to people on the internet.
*Think hard, children, before you open your heart and pocket book.
*A search through just about any search engine will give you lots of information. I recommend Dogpile.com. A tip is to run a search for an email address or user name, or even names, addresses and phone numbers that people are providing. You may find out that people are misrepresenting themselves here.
*Another tip, I believe that 'theft by deception' may be a felony. That's a little something for you scammers to think about on here. You are easier to find on the net than you may believe.
*I hate to spit all over this parade, but it's crucial that we take care of each other here and this is my way of taking care of all you kind hearted people out there. Do a lot of research and homework before you set yourself up to get hurt.
Let's be careful out there.
Love, LittleBigMama
