The person I was in the accident with sued me and when they were un-able to collect, were able to get the money from the government. The government has now given me an "involuntary loan". The other party in the lawsuit can not be found and the Alberta government is targeting me alone. http://www.justice.gov.ab.ca/mvac/default.aspxCrimminal charges stemming from the accident were driving with no insurance, but the charge was dropped in court as the other party in the car with me had told me the car was insured when in fact, it wasn't. It's only the civil suit that remains, many years later. Thats what I get for helping a friend who had too much to drink.I am employed but only make $1000/mo as does my wife. Our monthly bills total to about $1900.00 leaving very little for anything else. The Alberta government want no less that $250/mo for the next 23 years. We simply can not afford this. Not only that, but they have revoked my driving priviledges, I have done nothing wrong! I have no crimminal record and no tickets.I am a real person in real need.
